CAS dismisses appeal of Erik Tysse


The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has rendered its decision in the arbitration between the Norwegian walker Erik Tysse and the Norwegian Athletics Federation & the International Athletics Association (IAAF):

 

The CAS has confirmed that Erik Tysse was guilty of a doping violation (positive test with EPO CERA on 1 May 2010) and has confirmed the sanction imposed on him by the Norwegian Athletics Federation, ie. a period of ineligibilty of 2 years, starting from 8 July 2010. The CAS award is published on www.tas-cas.org (jurisprudence).
