Bulgarian Weightlifting Federation appeals to CAS

The Bulgarian Weightlifting Federation (IWF)has filed an appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF).

IWF has fined USD 500.000 and banned from entering the next Youth Olympic and Olympic Games after 11 of its athletes were found to have committed an anti-doping rule violation. The Bulgarian federation seeks to have the decision annulled.
